A month ago Gemma was asked to fly from Brisbane down to Sydney to be the makeup artist for an editorial for Italian Magazine Vulkan by their featured contributing photographer for the issue Thom Kerr.
The editorial features famed Australian-born model Tiah Eckhardt (Chic Model Management) and is accompanied by an exclusive interview with the striking redhead about her her life as a model and creator of lingerie blog "The Daily Knicker".
Seth Turnbull from London Management provided a masculine element to the story, modeling alongside our muse. Tiah's hair was styled by Timothy Stone of Shairspace in a mass of cascading curls, and stylist Lydia-Jane Saunders sourced an array of lingerie, accessories and flowing silk garments that were captured expertly by Thom, on one of the most beautiful beaches Sydney has to offer.
The makeup look for Tiah was bold yet beautiful, comprising of vivid colour tones and varied textures. Gemma used makeup from MAC Cosmetics, firstly creating a radiant base with Face & Body Foundation, Cream Colour Bases in Madly Magenta and Pre-meditated with highlights courtesy of Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle. Indianwood Paintpot along with Amber Lights and Antiqued eyeshadows adorned the eyes and lips were a custom mix of MAC Red and Lady Danger.
